a1. Size It Up
U.S. Saucer’s first release for Amarillo wasn’t a full-length, but a self-titled single from back in 1992. And the same musical style heard on later releases — 1994’s Tender Places Come from Nothing and 1997’s Hell, Yes! — rears its ugly head here as well. The style is a combination of drumless, slow-as-molasses rock, and David Tholfsen’s pained, out-of-tune, instantly recognizable vocals. The two songs « Size It Up » and « Consuela » are both strong compositions and serve as a perfect introduction to band. (Greg Prato, All Music Guide)
Tout premier single des immenses U.S. Saucer, dont l’album Tender Places Come from Nothing a été posté ici le mois dernier. Et toujours pas de batterie à l’horizon.
